We are currently seeking anOperating Engineerto support our client in Richmond, VA. The Operating Engineer will complement our already established team, apply today!
Some of what you will do:
- Perform maintenance and repairs of Pumps, Motors, Plumbing and HVAC Equipment
- Troubleshoot improperly working building equipment
- Operate all building systems and infrastructure within the facilities including fire/life safety, absorber operations, chiller and associated steam-related equipment, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) lighting and temperature control systems, light construction (painting, doors, locks)
- Review and recommend changes to preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures.
- Identify safety hazards within the building
- Complete all safety and related training per month.
- Maintain licenses and certifications.
- Responsible for alerting management of building discrepancies.
- Responsible for ensuring that JLL maintenance projects performed at the building are properly planned, executed, and closed out per standard industry practices.
- Responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants operating within the buildings.
- Responsible for keeping records of building rounds and readings, all engineering logs, and engineering data sheets.
- Performs additional job duties as requested.
Who we are looking for:
Required
- 3+ years of building maintenance experience
Preferred
- A journeyman license
- Completion of trade school
Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with an on-call rotation every 14 weeks for one week at a time.
Pay $27.54 - 39.96 hourly
