What you will do

The Transition Manager will focus on the review of design packages and ensuring the operability of the facility as a whole. Whereas the Transition Project Manager will also consult/analyze and deliver on more complex discrete assignments/projects that have been included in the scope of work but sit outside of the general operational cadence. Both positions will look for opportunities to grow and expand the scope of work packages, reduce costs and increase profits.

How you will do it

• Engage site early in person to provide support and/or direction to site resources.
• Gain a thorough understanding of site contract documents and working to clear up interpretation issues and identify areas of risk. This includes ensuring that any verbal agreements and/or discussions are documented as RFIs or otherwise.
• Assist in gathering documentation for maintenance planning.
• Hold consortia partners to their requirements using a thorough understanding of Interface Agreement responsibilities.
• Develop, maintain and update mobilization plans and schedules, where required present to the Consortia or Client.
• Integrate into site teams with involvement ramping up as SC approaches, then tapering involvement as the site reaches steady state operations. This will not apply equally to all sites and will be dependent on circumstances.
• During operations, this role would be available to support project work on an as-needed basis due to their familiarity with the site. This could occur at any time during the project’s lifespan, especially if challenges arise.
• Maintain ownership over key transition deliverables, e.g. Manuals/SOPs, including actively leading SOPs/Manuals and associated inputs/outputs.
• After Substantial Completion (SC), for the life of the contract, you will be required to attend the annual SOP review where you will continue to drive consistency and best practice.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related degree or equivalent experience in a facility management discipline with 10 years or more experience.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, contract interpretation, SOP’s, KPI’s and their interrelation with P3 model.
• Familiarity with Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, CRAC Units, etc. )
• Experience working on mission critical projects
• Experience with post construction warranty period review and rectification by applicable contractor
