Job Summary
We are seeking an expert developer with 8 to 12 years of experience in Informatica Power Exchange, Data Warehousing Concepts, Informatica Scheduler, ETL, SQL, Data Integration Informatica PowerCenter, and Unix Shell Scripting. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Cards and Payments. This role involves designing and implementing data integration solutions to support our business objectives and improve our data management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica Power Exchange and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide technical expertise in Data Warehousing Concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data integration projects.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts to support data extraction transformation and loading processes.
- Use Unix Shell Scripting to automate data integration tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data integration solutions are aligned with industry standard processes and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and solve data integration processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement Informatica Scheduler to manage and schedule ETL workflows effectively.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to enhance system performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data integration standard methodologies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integration solutions meet business needs and objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data integration and apply them to improve existing solutions.
Qualifications
- Possess deep technical skills in Informatica Power Exchange Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Scheduler.
- Demonstrate expertise in Data Warehousing Concepts and ETL processes.
- Have proficiency in SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Show experience in data integration within the Cards and Payments domain.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Display excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 10/31/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000-$110,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
