Role Purpose Statement

The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of meals for LSG Sky Chefs' airline customers. This position requires a strong understanding of customer menu specifications, Cbase software, and VPS systems to generate accurate labor models, balance assignments, and support overall production operations. The scheduler will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all production tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.

Main Accountabilities

  • Work independently and within Team
  • Knowledge of customer menu specifications and requirements
  • Understand the Cbase software application food production and related VPS computerized business model
  • Generate daily VPS labor model, balance labor and assignments, generate daily labor plan
  • Set up information prior to cycle change for customer. This includes being present on cycle change dates when needed.
  • Process and print weekly reports for operations
  • Ability to determine production task run rates and update labor model with most accurate information available
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Knowledge of airline specific database systems (i.e: CBASE)
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail in a high stress environment
  • Verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiply, and divide)
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
