Summary:

This role will work on the core Gaming Application functionality to light up new functionality, fix bugs in existing features, and drive for better player experience in the Xbox app. This requires strong user interface skills and design, working cross-functionally with designers, and experience writing different levels of automated tests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build new user interface features in the gaming application in partnership with Product Managers and Designers
  • Fix bugs in existing user interface features in the gaming application in partnership with other engineers
  • Build unit tests, functional tests, and manual tests for any new functionality or upgrading tests to prevent regressions in bugs fixed

Skills:

  • Strong ReactJS and React Native knowledge & experience is required
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
  • Experience with C++

Education/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.96 to $56.62 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
