Job Summary and Qualifications
OurImagingTeams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking an Vascular Tech.As our new Vascular Technologist or Sonographer, you will conduct and document vascular assessments on patients as ordered. You will work closely with the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Services. You willperform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care.If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
- The Vascular Technologist is responsible for producing quality, diagnostic radiographs for Radiologist interpretation.
- Demonstrates concern and empathy while performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
- Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and physicians regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate.
- Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate / GED
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
