- Schedule: Full-time DAY - 6am to 4:30pm Monday Friday, every 5th weekend rotation. Every 5th week on call rotation.

- Salary - $33.44 - $50.16

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedure to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
- Set up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducer to perform exam.
- Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
- Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
- Recognize significant structure, artifact, pathology and equipment limitations.
- Position patient and select anatomic and technical parameter accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
date. - Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer
date. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted. - Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
