This role is onsite and will work a hybrid scheduleaveraging three days in the office and two days from home plusten work From anywhere days, in the U.S. only, provided annually. This is on top ofvacation, holidays and personal days.

The successful candidate will:
- Ensure that Sodexo is in compliance with state and local Sales/Use & Property Tax regulations
- Involvement in entire sales/use tax compliance function including preparing various states’ return filings, account reconciliations, and tax analyses
- Serve as compliance contact for inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Assist with completion of various states’ refund claims
- Assist as needed with sales and use tax issues
- Assist with property tax compliance functions
- Participate in various projects within the department
- Assist with compilation of data and documentation for tax audits

- Minimum Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Vertex/SAP/Taxware experience preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Must be well organized
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and customer service orientation
- Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High degree of initiative
