Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN - CVICU/CCU
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week.Weekends as needed
Length: 13 weeks
Holiday Requirements:If holiday falls within contract and there is a need, travelers would work, perm staff have scheduled holidays
Requirements:
- WA License
- 3-4 years of CVICU, CCU, or cardiac specific critical care experience
- Must have experience with temporary pacers - 50% of patients
- Must have experience caring for stroke patients
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Highly recommended to have experience with all of the following devices: Impella, IABP, CRRT, Prismaflex, Ventrics, ECMO, & LVADs
Other Details:
- Charting System: Cerner
- # Beds 28 (average census 18-20)
- Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:1-2
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients Only have 1 ICU; Mixed diagnosis medical & surgical ICU, Heavy Cardiothoracic surgery, post-open hearts immediate post-op and POD 1-2, valves, PA caths, ECMO VV & VA, transvenous or epicardial pacers on 50% of patients. Multisystem organ failure, resp failure, renal failure, heart failure, vascular surgery, stroke, interventional neuro & transcatheter interventional patients, head bleeds, thrombectomies, Ventrics & lumbar drains.DKA, complex GI surgeries, liver failure, sepsis.ECMO VV & VA
- Ok with first time travelers if have above experience
- RNs required to titrate drips
- Floating Requirements anywhere in house, prioritize floating to progressive care: 1:3 ratios, neuro progressive care 1:3 ratios, Med Surg 1:5 ratios
- Scrub Color/Dress Code Royal Blue, white or grey as secondary colors

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
