We are seeking a performance-driven Ophthalmology Account Lead. This role builds strategic account plans, understanding customer needs to increase sales for important targets.

What will you be doing
- Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism ofaction, indications, efficacy, safety, etc.
- Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but notlimited to pharmacy-economics, payer/reimbursement landscape and patientflow/influence between institutions and community practices) and analyze these factors in thedevelopment of business plans and in daily execution of interactions within compliance guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs office staff and others in the patient care continuum. Foster team effectiveness and accomplishmentof shared goals by providing knowledge, experience, and information.
- Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using the insights toposition current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on acustomized strategy.
What do you need for this position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Pharma sales experience
- Specialty Sales experience highly preferred
- Ophthalmology experience preferred
- Documented history of sales success
- Team-based selling or collaborative selling
- Ability to travel overnight if required
