The Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters (CSU) Claims department seeks a claims analysts I-III to manage property and casualty claims and litigation files, assist in product development and provide underwriting support. This position is a hybrid role - working 50% in the office and 50% remotely.

Salary:The pay range for this position is$75,000 - $110,000annually. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:
  • provide account review, advice and assistance with manuscript forms to underwriting staff
  • provide file supervision, coverage analysis and guidance on property and casualty claims files
  • control and manage property and casualty litigation files
  • conduct product development, including legal and form research, and policy language development
  • assist and support Field Claims associates to claims file conclusion
  • support achievement of departmental goals and initiatives
  • communicate claims trends to the CSU Underwriting team
Qualifications:
Be equipped with:
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong negotiation and reasoning skills with the ability to multi-task
  • the ability to sustain effective working relationships with associates, policyholders, claimants and agents
  • the ability to identify and analyze key critical issues and provide solutions for successful outcomes
  • the ability to accomplish goals with moderate supervision
  • the ability to analyze coverage

Bring education or experience from:

  • a bachelor's degree (required)
  • a law degree (optional)
  • five or more years of claims adjusting or claims supervision experience (preferred)
  • multi-line claims adjusting experience (preferred)
