Purpose: Crystal Clean is seeking a contribution minded Accounts Payable Associate to join our Accounts Payable Team. The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices in a timely and efficient manner. This position will require a strong attention to detail and must be able to problem solve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely entry of payables into accounting system (Coupa).
- Maintain vendor information including W-9 forms, name changes, vendor addresses.
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies and inquiries.
- Other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish them in a timely manner.
- Sound interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
- Basic accounting knowledge in order to research and resolve accounting issues.
- Team player, honest, proactive.
- Adheres to established schedules and deadlines by accurately processing high volume of transactions daily
- Functions within established guidelines of SOX compliance.
- Present a positive image of Crystal Clean to fellow employees, external contacts, and the general public
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Customer service experience preferred
- 2+ years of related work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook required
- Coupa experience preferred
- NetSuite experience preferred
