The Clinical Assistant will be responsible for:- Assisting clinicians in a fast-paced environment (including but not limited to- obtaining and recording patient vital signs, rooming patients, assisting clinicians during examinations, obtaining pertinent reports/imaging)
- Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
- Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Physician.
- Completing and documenting patient-related prescreening/postoperativetelephone calls
- Providing general support for clinical operations, including stocking, maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining safety and cleanliness of work area, ensuring area is compliant with regulatory and hospital policies.
- Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
To qualify, you must have:- 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience.
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- A HS Diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to work with computer systems
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to rotate to Boston and Waltham clinics.
