Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN - Medical Surgical / Telemetry -Cardiac Renal Unit
Shift: Days, 6:30a-7p,12x3, 36 hrs per week,will accept 48 upon request, EOH
Length:13 weeks
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule
Requirements:
- IN /compact license
- Minimum 2 years of strong Tele/M/S experience
- 1 travel assignment
- Trauma Level II experience
- Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
- Recent Epic charting experience
Other:
- First to float within skillset
- Patient Population: High acuity – Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis
- Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift.
- Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
- Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
- No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
