Overview:
The Lead Co-worker Health Nurse is responsible for coordinating Co-worker Health processes and procedures, working closely with Co-worker Health leaders and staff, Workers Compensation, Infectious Disease, and other departments we serve at Mercy. They perform related duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercys mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of state approved nursing school.
- Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate state.
- Experience: Two years as a RN.
- Certification/Registration: Three years clinical experience and current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
- Other Skills and Knowledge: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience: Emergency Room, Infectious Disease, Employee Health or Workers Compensation preferred- Other Skills and Knowledge: Experience with Epic and Microsoft products, such as Word and Excel
