Unit Highlights
Nurses onUnit 2E (Neuroscience Nursing)care for Neuro-Surgical and ENT patients, specializing in Laryngectomies. 2E offers nursesspeciallytraining for managing both the Medical-Surgical and Intermediate Care patient populations. Unit 2E is an integral part of the Comprehensive Stroke Center. We were the first hospital in D.C. to achieve designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
This 10 – Medical Surgical Bed and 16 IMC Bed unit- proudly manages complex neurological patients and the Tenecteplase (TNK) patient population.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
