PRN Clinical Dietitian

This position is PRN 1-3 days a week. Will be required to cover maternity leave full time (40 hours) May 2025- September 2025.

Primary Duties:

• Conductsassessments for patients toestablishdiet and food guidelines.

• Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapyin accordance withpatientsmedical needs,goalsandobjectives.

• Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Must be flexible to cross-train to Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU.Work closely withFoodService team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.

• Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to medical or allied health professionals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree M.S. degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the American Dietetic Associationrequired.

• 5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experiencerequiredOR3-4 years Clinical nutrition experiencealong withCDE - Certified Diabetes Educator CertificationorCNSD - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinicianrequired.
• Licensed in District of Columbiarequired or eligible to apply for DC licensurerequired.
