MedStar Health is currently seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center. Primary Duties:

  • Conducts assessments for patients to establish diet and food guidelines.

  • Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy in accordance withpatients medical needs, goals and objectives.

  • Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors. Must be flexible to cross-train to Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU.Work closely with Food Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.

  • Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to medical or allied health professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree M.S. degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the American Dietetic Associationrequired.

  • 5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experience requiredOR3-4 years Clinical nutrition experience along with CDE - Certified Diabetes Educator Certification or CNSD - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinicianrequired.

  • Licensed in District of Columbia required or eligible to apply for DC licensure required.

This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041
