Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required and minimum 1 year cardiac cath lab experience.
First-timers accepted: Yes- only with significant cath lab experience
Weekend REQ: Call every 4th weekend.
Certs REQ: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and IL State License are required.
Is on-call REQ Yes- 1 NOC per week, every 4th weekend
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs Will float if needed.

Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab. Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Skills/Experience: ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI), Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion. Required Equipment/Operation/Maintenance Skills/Experience: PACS, Maintains equipment,
Maintains inventory, Stocks supplies. Required Electrophysiology Study Skills/Experience: Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardioversion, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure. Required Vascular Studies/Procedures: Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy. Required Venous Access Skills/Experience: Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Central Venous Access (Tunneled Port). Required Equipment and Device Skills/Experience: Fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, Siemens, Ultrasound. Required Procedural Responsibilities: Accurate monitoring, Equipment setup, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose). Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response Team. Cerner experience required.
