The Weinberg Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Weinberg 3A) is a 20-bed adult surgical intensive care unit. WICU has won the AACN Beacon Award and was recognized by the SCCM for the Family Centered Care Innovation Award. This unit is grounded in teamwork as well as Patient and Family Centered Care.
Registered Nurse 2 – Surgical ICU (Weinberg 3A) - This position is for the experienced RN that has achieved RN I competencies.

Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- BSN/MSN strongly preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Tuition reimbursement - BSN/MSN matriculation required within one-year of hire and completion of degree within five-years of hire.
- Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
- CPR/BLS certification required. AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
- Acute Care nursing experience required.
- The ideal candidate is proficient in Registered Nurse 1 competencies.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.31 per hour - Maximum 56.28 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
