About the General Med/Surg 3 Department: We're seeking a registered nurse to join our team in the 43-bed Medicine III med/surg unit in the South Tower of NHRMC. This unit, with small, simple surgeries, is known for its close-knit, teamwork-oriented staff. With a range of support professionals including pharmacists, case workers, social workers, and dietitians, nurses here are empowered to provide high-quality patient care. This unit is best described as a family, where positivity, flexibility, and a passion for learning are valued. Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in their health journey.
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care.
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences in every dimension.
- Foster teamwork, team member engagement, and community involvement.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required .
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required .
- One-year relevant experience, preferred.
