About the Orthopedic Unit: We are seeking a registered nurse to join our team at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital 's Orthopedic unit. T he Orthopedics unit stands out for its exceptionally supportive team culture, making it an ideal environment for new hires, as it is known for its warm welcome. Responsibilities- Assessing patients' conditions and health needs.
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
- Provide exceptional patient care in a supportive team environment.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of experienced and new graduate nurses.
- Educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures.
- Accommodate both acute and long-term patients with equal dedication .
Qualifications- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Current North Carolina Nursing License or Multi-State/Compact
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a supportive team culture
- Flexibility and adaptability to care for diverse patient populations
- One-year relevant experience, preferred
