About the Role
The Trade Show and Events Manager manages the execution and logistics of trade shows and events to achieve business objectives. Provides ongoing support to deliver an effective program of events for trade shows and events, including establishing program agenda, overall project/timeline management, venue and vendor selection, controlling budget, executing logistics, and conducting post-event measurement and follow-up.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan.
- Plans, manages, and executes external events supporting the company’s business development goals and initiatives utilizing project management skills.
- Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, staffing, promotional items, collateral, bookings, and other details.
- Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget.
- Serves as the point of contact and communicates information for tradeshows and events to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
What You'll Need for Success
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus high school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM.
- 3-4 years of recent, applicable, hands-on events and marketing experience with demonstrated development, project management and execution skills
- Exceptional time, resource management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and act with urgency, as needed.
- Experience supervisinga diversity of events, ranging in size and scope
- Demonstrated Operational project management skills and experience creating work plans, meeting agendas, budgets, and other collaboration tools
