Job Summary and Qualifications
The Support Services Analyst is responsible for management, surveillance and improvement of the Division’s Financial and Infrastructure processes for Food, Chemicals and related supplies for both departments. This includes entering and updating all product codes, recipe submissions to Corporate Business Specialist and Corporate Executive Chef, menu and inventory related information in the foodservice software system. The position will assist in training and supporting Super Users and end users in the foodservice software applications. Other duties include preparing reports, improving contract compliance, monitoring GPO agreement compliance, communicating with the facility FANS and EVS staff on purchasing issues, sourcing products when primary items are unavailable, auditing invoice data for accuracy and other designated functions. Schedule will vary based on needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serves on the Division Core Team for FANS Software Infrastructure development and support.
- Maintains division platform for FANS Software System.
- Works directly with Corporate FANS Business Specialist to ensure FANS software system is aligned with division and enterprise goals and initiatives.
- Merges Division data to facilities for application.
- Assists in training super users and end users, as needed in using software systems.
- Analyzes and reinforces contract compliance to ensure maximum savings.
- Works with contracted suppliers to implement product and process improvements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors’ degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Finance, Business Management, orHealthcare Administration Required
- Masters’ degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Finance, Business Management, orHealthcare Administration or similar Preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with food service software Required
- Knowledge of Foodservice activities and duties, terminology and nomenclature required. Required
- Previous Hospital EVS Operational Experience Preferred
- Licenses, Certifications, & Training:Serve Safe Certification or equivalent required. (If not held at time of hire, must obtain within 6months) Required
- Registered Dietitian certification and state licensure as required by state. Required
