Position Summary:
STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Accounting Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational and administrative functions essential to the success of Financial and Accounting process. The ideal candidate will possess organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to sustainable accounting practices. This position reports to the Accounting Director.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support internal and external outside auditors
- Support technical accounting manager.
- Preparation and design proper supporting for manual accounting entries for adherence to accounting guidelines and internal controls.
- Preparation of internal financial statements that include key metrics, financial risk and financial results, for review by management and Board of Directors
- Preparation of internal reporting package on a quarterly and yearly basis
- Prepare and analyzing financial and accounting reports as required by different shareholders.
- Maintain financial integrity and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting processes.
- Analyze yearly reports of company finances.
- Provide accounting professional guidance to other finance areas.
- Support for other accounting members by acting as a backup and giving operational assistance.
- Reporting accounting operations
- Support on Month end activities and communicate with related parties.
- Other jobs and duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or similar.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Good knowledge of SAP and accounting systems.
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and USGAAP).
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applications
Preferred:
- Bilingual English / Korean.
- Master of Business Administration.
- Experience in internal control and financial reporting.
- Mainframe applications / ITM program understanding.
- Ability and desire to identify opportunities for process improvements, and the drive to enact change
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
