Position summary:
The Merchandiser is responsible for setting customer’s stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service. A Merchandiser may be either permanent in the position, or a temporary Sales Trainee assigned to the department as part of his/her ongoing sales training program/schedule.
Position responsibilities:- Assist in setting or resetting product to include industry wide and core-mark specific planograms.
- Assists in creating customer store lay-outs upon request, and physically merchandising the product at the customer’s store.
- Records unsalable merchandise via an IPAD when re-setting customer stores, in order for customer to receive credit.
- Participates in periodic overnight travel which may include multiple nights.
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Assists the Merchandising Manager in maintaining inventory of all merchandising supplies, including the proper stocking of department work vehicles.
Qualification:
Associates/2-year technical
6 months - 1 year experience
