About the Job:
Functions as the primary coordinator for the scheduling of interventional procedures requiring PA for all sections of radiology services. Provides ongoing communications with patients, families, physicians, PAC and staff.
What You’ll Do:
- Assumes responsibility for scheduling OP/IP interventional procedures for radiologist and PA
- Also schedules all ultrasound procedures
- Acts a resource to radiology nursing, Radiology PAC, and ultrasound for scheduling issues
- Responsible for reviewing labs and some medications with radiology nursing prior to visit
- Verifies all interventional procedures with nursing department and PAC. 4. Prepares all orders needed for each case and faxes to appropriate facilities

Who You Are:
- High School Diploma, Required
- 2 years of healthcare experience, Preferred
- Previous experience with medical term and medical coding, Preferred
- Excellent clinical documentation, and successful usage of EMR systems, Preferred
