Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who develops and maintains the trauma injury prevention and outreach programs as set forth by the guidelines established by the American College of Surgeons Trauma Center Verification Program and state designated trauma program. This position utilizes the trauma registry in the development of outreach and education
programs for the community and professionally within local Piedmont Hospitals.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in, Nursing
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of two years of experience in health education and/or in Emergency/Critical Care of the Trauma patient required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Required
PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC preferred.
