Maximus is seeking a Documents Manager to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland.
The Documents Manager is responsible for maintaining controls for all policy, procedure, and work instruction documents, consistent with all applicable document control guidelines.
Specific Responsibilities:
·Maintains and tracks policies, procedures, and work instructions throughout the Controlled Document Process.
·Ensures all documents within the Controlled Document system are managed appropriately and updated according to approved processes, including thorough assessment, and tracking of revision histories.
·Assists in maintenance of documentation and identification of changes that may be required due to project Change Requests and new initiatives.
·Monitors and reports on the Controlled Document Process (both internally and externally) and recommends improvement opportunities.
·Interfaces with management and cross-functional project staff to determine appropriate impact area for each policy, procedure, and work instruction.
·Identifies and classifies all documentation based on documentation type and control type required, as well as identifies all document association.
