Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a Scrum Master to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission-critical systems in defense of our Homeland.The Scrum Master will facilitate and ensure the effective implementation of Agile practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment for a federal client’s operations. As a crucial member of our team, the Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in guiding teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS184, T4, Band 7 Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate collaboration and communication between development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals and seamless integration of deliverables.Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.Monitor Progress: Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.Promote Agile Principles: Advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization, driving adoption and adherence to Agile methodologies.Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Minimum Requirements TCS184, T4, Band 7 Project Minimum Requirements:Per contract requirements candidate must possess an Active Secret clearance.Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship.This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer’s discretion. This includes being on-site during the transition period. Must be based around Annapolis Junction, MD.
