IV Therapy Team Highlights
Some functions include: IV ultrasound, port access, dressing changes, non-tunnel line pulls upon discharge amongst others
IV Therapy RNs don't carry a patient load and float to all units in the hospital

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 10a – 6:30p with occasional variation

Education- Associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required; bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Bachelor’s degree in nursing enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years
Experience- 1-2 years RN experience required. 2-3 years of RN experience with IV Therapy skills strongly preferred.
Licenses and Certifications- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period required. ACLS a bonus
