JOB SUMMARY: As a floater on the Community Physician Enterprise team you will be traveling to various practices within our geographical region to provide both front and back office assistance. Assist providers with efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care, perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to: measuring/recording vital signs, collecting specimens and administering injections. Administrative tasks include answering phones, maintaining patient schedules and performing other front desk duties.
This position floats to offices in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Frederick Counties. Physician Offices include Pediatric and Adult Primary Care, Orthopedic, Pulmonary, Cardiology and Gastroenterology.
REQUIREMENTS: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills. High School diploma, GED equivalent or High School Certificate. Minimum of 3 years of patient care experience. Medical Assistant Certification/Training required, Phlebotomy preferred and required for some practices.American Heart Association CPR Certification. Knowledge of medical reporting and record keeping a plus.
