Job Summary
The Sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training preferred.
- Vascular experience recommended
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) registration in OB/GYN and Abdominal modalities within six months of hire date is required. RVT preferred but not required.
Work Schedule
- 7:00am-7:00pm, e/5th wknd, occas hol, with evening/wknd call; 72hrs/2wks
