Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst role is part of a dynamic QA team and reports to the Software Development Director. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, skilled at documenting and sharing detailed technical knowledge with the QA team. This role involves testing both front-end interfaces and back-end APIs and requires strong SQL skills. This position is remote.
Key Responsibilities:
•Document and share functional knowledge of existing software platforms
•Develop and maintain test plans and test cases
•Perform functional and regression testing for applications
•Support PCI DSS compliance for secure software solutions
•Validate system security and data privacy protocols
•Collaborate with Development and Product teams to deliver quality, high-impact software
•Additional relevant tasks as needed
Requirements:
•U.S. Citizenship required
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
•5+ years of QA experience
•Expertise in testing front-end applications and APIs
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Strong SQL skills for validating data and results
•Analytical skills to troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis
•Familiarity with tools such as Postman and Atlassian Jira
Preferred Skills:
•Experience creating automated testing frameworks
•QA certifications (ASTQB/ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, etc.)
•Background in software development
•Knowledge of payment processing systems
