Program Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled multifaceted Program Manager with a strong background in Java development to lead and manage sophisticated software projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with project management foresight to drive successful project delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

*Candidate is required to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week*
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Program Planning: Develop detailed program plans, define the scope of the program, and track progress
· Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate multiple projects within the program, ensuring they are executed smoothly
· Resource Management: Allocate resources, manage budgets, and develop funding proposals
· Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
· Stakeholder Communication: Maintain relationships with stakeholders and report on program status
· Team Leadership: Supervise project managers and other staff, providing guidance and support
· Performance Evaluation: Assess program performance and work to maximize return on investment (ROI)
Required Qualifications:
· Project Management: Strong understanding of project management techniques and methods
· Leadership: Excellent leadership and organizational skills
· Communication: Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
· Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues and make strategic decisions
· Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Basecamp)
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and develop efficient strategies

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
