Job Title: Dynatrace/SRE Engineer (Hybrid)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Summary:
We are seeking an expert Infra Ops Specialist with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynatrace and SRE and will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our infrastructure. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the monitoring and performance tuning of infrastructure using Dynatrace.
- Provide expert-level support for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Ensure the reliability availability and performance of critical infrastructure components.
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to craft and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational processes.
- Consistently analyze performance and resource utilization to uphold efficient operations.
- Lead incident response efforts to quickly resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Provide detailed root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure operations and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure components.
- Stay updated with industry trends and standard methodologies to continuously improve infrastructure operations.
- Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong and capable operations team.
Required Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure operations.
- Demonstrate expertise in Dynatrace and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Have a strong understanding of monitoring and performance tuning techniques.
- Show proficiency in automation scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Display tight-knit collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications Required:
Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification SRE Foundation Certification.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until December 01, 2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 114,000.00 - $ 133,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
