Finance Development Program Internship
POSITION LOCATION
This hybrid position can either be located in Richmond, Virginia or Stamford, CT.
YOUR ROLE
At Genworth, we cultivate future business leaders in our highly competitive program for college students studying finance, accounting, economics, and mathematics seeking to be a Finance Development Program Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring accountants, financial analysts, and investment professionals to gain hands-on experience with top finance leaders. Throughout this 10-to-12 week internship beginning Summer 2025, participants could work in departments such as financial planning and analysis, controllership, control environments, finance shared services, accounting, and reporting, as well as investments to strengthen and develop their technical and interpersonal skills. At the end of the summer, successful interns who are rising seniors will have the opportunity to interview for job offers in our full-time Finance Development Program.

Must Have/What You Bring
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the following majors: Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum or better GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
• High aspirations for a career in the Finance/Accounting/Investments fields
• High initiative, leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communications.
