Outside Sales Representative
(Must have some architectural glass/aluminum industry experience)
TruliteisGROWING!We are looking for anOutside Sales Representative.The territory will includeEast Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Northern Delaware, Northeast Maryland and Connecticut with3-4 overnights Monday-Friday. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for securing new business, managing existing sales business, and drive sales to meet manufacturing capacity.
$75k-$90k/year
Who You Are:
You are adaptable to ever changing business environments and departmental need changes as well as inter departmental, general business and customer communication and confidentiality.
- Hunt for new business (50%), Customer Maintenance (50%) -- emphasis on growth
- Meet with customers, maintain relationships, negotiate and close deals.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clientsand Architects in designated territory
- Develop and maintain strategic sales plans to align with Corporate and Branch goals.
- Increase market share with existing accounts
- Develop new accounts within the existing trading area
- Work with GM to negotiate daily and project pricing
- Follow up on all quotes in excess of $5,000
- Provide feedback to the internal team on pricing and competitive activity
- Work with GM to close the sale
- Prepare weekly sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion (market analysis).
- Monitor and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Assist in collection of payments from customers as needed.
- Glazing/Estimating background is helpful. Familiar with take offs from a glass shop.
- Communicate with customers daily
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business or another related field required.
- Road warrior with ability to travel overnight 3-4 times a week Monday through Friday. (Eastern PA, New Jersey, Northern Delaware, Northeast Maryland and Connecticut)
- 1 year outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education, project management, or estimating within the architectural glass industry.
- Ability to work independently
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with a CRM system and maintaining accurate reporting and call logs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to adapt the communication to the audience and positively influence others
- Ability to handle confidential information with discernment and sensitivity
- Demonstrated experience in issue identification and resolution skills (identifying and implementing solutions, getting others to support proposed solutions)
