Position Overview:

Processes a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balances these transactions while maintaining friendly and positive relationships with customers and coworkers. Maintains appropriate level of cash on hand and prepares daily paperwork according to branch procedures.Travel between branches may be necessary.

What you will be doing:

  • Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.

  • Adhere to all security procedures established to ensure safety for employees and customers.

  • Recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses

  • Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.

  • Achieve assigned individual growth and service goals

  • Contribute to the fulfillment of department and bank objectives and goals

  • Required to participate in community events

  • Promote and foster exceptional service to ensure best in class customer service is being provided

  • Maintain service quality as measured by customer satisfaction surveys and the branch net promoter score

  • Uphold established Wintrust culture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Travel between branches may be necessary

  • Must be available to work all shifts including Saturdays

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
