HOW A NETWORK MANAGER III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Leverage lead level of experience on military networks as specified in the task order.
Manage networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting.
Establish new circuit requirements.
Provide a lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks.
Meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or as otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Technical Training: Lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks. Must have experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.
Certifications: MCSA, CCNP – RS or Datacenter

Wireless Network Engineer
Clearance Level: SECRET
- Performing systems engineering, design, analysis, and experimentation of wireless networks.
- Evaluating the performance of Media Access Control (MAC) and higher layers of various types of wireless networks.
- Researching, designing and implementing wireless networks, including the definition of applicable engineering specifications and resource requirements for network hardware and software.
- Making recommendations for wireless network optimization, additions and upgrades to meet the Government’s requirements.
- Conducting and documenting radio frequency (RF) coverage, site surveys and providing heat maps for the area of responsibility.
- Familiar with multi-vendor wireless technologies; Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst 9800, and Aruba Wireless controllers.
- Provide responsive services to include real-time network-level configuration control, network restoration, quality control and performance standards.
- Managing networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, and security, including 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards and industry best practices.
- Experience implementing high-density Wi-Fi solutions.
- Fundamental knowledge of security protocols and authentication (WPA2, EAP-TLS, 802.1x, AAA).
- This role must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of Cisco devices, multiprotocol (EIGRP, OSPF) routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
- Wireless Network Engineers must also be effective communicators with excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills in order to collaborate successfully with network technicians, vendors, and managers.

Specialized Experience:
- Must have experience on military networks.
- Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Managing networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting
- Establishing new circuit requirements
- Documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders, and as built drawings
- U.S. Air Force / USAFCENT networking experience desired.
The likely salary range for this position is $106,257 - $143,759. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
