Our client in the HVAC and automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD or design skills, an understanding of customer requirements, and knowledge/experience in standard quality tools and management systems standards.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $85,000
What's the Job
- Carry out design assessment and make a design plan.
- Design and draft parts and assemblies using CAD.
- Promptly plan the project, assure needed resources, and set a realistic timeline and communication strategy.
- Actively carry out tasks related to the project.
- Assure design control.
What's Needed
- 3 years in an HVAC and/or automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong CAD or design skills as per the required discipline.
- Engineering Associate degree or Technical diploma.
- Understanding of customer requirements and knowledge/experience in standard Quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP/PPAP, and Lean tools as Kaizen, 5S, Five Why analysis, Poka Yoke.
- Knowledge/experience in Management systems standards: ISO9001. ISO/TS16949.
