Our client, a leader in the automotive and heavy-duty truck manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Services Department supporting the Powertrain Installation (PWTI) team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail, which will align successfully with the organization.

Pay Range: $45 to $50
What’s the Job
- Designing cooling and exhaust system components and sub-components for Powertrain Installation - Internal Combustion Engines (PWTI-ICE).
- Ensuring new designs meet business targets and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) objectives.
- Front-loading work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.
- Releasing components to resolve maintenance issues or meet project delivery timelines.
- Supporting the development of modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.
What’s Needed
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in designing cooling and exhaust systems for internal combustion engines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet quality and delivery targets under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with modular design principles and manufacturing processes.
