Knowledge Manager
GDIT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Knowledge Manager to support the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. HOW THE KNOWLEDGE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Establish, implement, and execute Standard Operating Procedures for Knowledge Management of MTC information.
- Operate and maintain current and future knowledge management systems and tools.
- The knowledge Management will include following requirements;
- Web-based portals, Out/inward facing site, portal access, content management, and training.
- Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs), capturing lessons learned, and incorporate feedback into future exercises.
- Closely work with the planning team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Education:BA/BS or combination of education and experience
- Required Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in operational planning, process optimization, and project management
- Strong understanding of how knowledge management principles and practices fit into the exercise life cycle.
- Experience with knowledge management systems and tools (such as MS Outlook, Army 365 SharePoint, and MS Teams).
- Strong Experience with Windows Servers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Desired Skills:
- Knowledge in Army and Joint Exercise Life Cycle. Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC requirements and training objectives.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of Army and Joint training programs.
- Proficiency in utilizing knowledge management tools and platforms.
- Familiar with the exercise and training.
- Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required to start
- Required Certification(s): Certification in ITIL, or Knowledge Management
- Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
