Who We Are:
The Johnson Controls facility in Marinette, Wisconsin has been in operation for more than 100 years supporting generations of employees in manufacturing, research & development, technical services & training, customer services, marketing, product management and more. Our 700+ employees design, produce, market and support several leading fire protection brands including our globally recognized ANSUL products: fire extinguishers and mobile hose line units; specialized restaurant, vehicle, and industrial systems; sophisticated fire detection/suppression systems and a complete line of fire suppressing agents. Every year, hundreds of customers from around the world attend the ANSUL Fire School to learn the basics of hands-on portable extinguisher firefighting and we hold dozens of intense product training programs where our 1000+ authorized distributors are instructed and tested in system design, installation, and service. What You Will Do:
Provide technical support for FRICK Industrial Refrigeration customers, field personnel and sales staff through venues including telephone and Email and offer technical solutions to very complex problems by assisting them in troubleshooting the system / equipment and offering advice and guidance in resolving the issues.
How You Will Do It:
Personal interaction with other groups including engineering, design, YPS and ECS controls.
Technical research of industrial refrigeration equipment such as packages, compressors, vessels, control panels, piping, pumps, and valves in support of our parts center and customer needs.
Identify quality issues and research as necessary to offer plausible solutions for consideration so they can be presented to the quality team.
Must keep self-up to date and educated on new and existing product lines which may require up to 10% travel.
What We Look For:
Tech School program or equivalent work experience in HVAC or refrigeration
Previous experience working with compressor, air handlers, controls systems, motors, and starters.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-Mail is required.
