Job Description/Responsibilities:

This role is on-site at the Most Award Winning Distillery, Buffalo Trace!

As a key part of our operations team, this role is responsible for managing the kitting and distribution of teamwork orders, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for execution. You will use our CMMS system to update daily workflows and be responsible for developing and maintaining 5S standards in the team shop and work areas. Additionally, you'll manage team equipment, ensure cleanliness, and support the facility safety program by implementing 5S processes and team SOPs.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Employee Supervision: Oversee hourly employees to ensure safe work practices are followed, with proper use of safety equipment.
  • Maintenance & Project Management: Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Support preventative/reactive maintenance and project work, adhering to safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Facility Upkeep: Conduct daily inspections to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently, and oversee seasonal planning with the Homeplace Manager.
  • Training & Development: Implement employee training programs, providing hands-on instruction. Identify key skills for improvement and work with team members on yearly development goals.
  • Leadership: Foster a respectful, team-oriented environment where employees are encouraged to excel and contribute to meeting company goals. Participate in efforts to improve workplace culture.
  • Inventory Management: Manage vendor-managed inventory to ensure parts are available while minimizing costs and downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize the CDS system to identify training needs, prepare for career growth opportunities, and provide feedback on on-the-job learning.

Qualifications/Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum education High School diploma / GED

· 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, facility management, or a similar field.

· Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

· Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

· Strong analytical and technical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

· At least 1 year of experience managing within a unionized environment.

· 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
