PRACTICE SPECIFICS

  • Join another internist and 6 FP Physicians in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000.

  • Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital.

  • Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post-discharge.

  • Anticipated weekly work schedule: 8-5, M-F plus call rotation. Back-up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA.

  • Anticipated volume of office patients per day: 15-22/day

  • Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed M/S unit in the only Hospital in the County.

  • Average daily census of unit: ICU = 4; MSP = 15

REQUIREMENTS

  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine

  • Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area on scenic Detroit Lake.

  • 1 hour from Fargo (international airport/shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.

  • Detroit Lakes population: 10,000

  • Excellent school system and reasonable home costs.

COMPTENSATION

  • $321,250. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
