PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- We are looking for a strong, patient-centered physician that loves small town life!
- This clinic has a robust team environment and a fun collegial culture. Many of the staff choose to live in Spooner for its exceptional outdoor recreation & beauty.
- Brand new, state-of-the-art clinic and hospital
- Enjoy great work-life balance with a “Low Call” model. You will be on a light call rotation of 1 in 13 that includes patients from both the clinic and a local nursing home. However, for much of the nursing home care you are functioning as a back-up, filling in gaps in their coverage.
- No hospital call
- Multi-specialty group that consists of 3 Family Practice Physicians, 5.8 Family Nurse Practitioners and numerous visiting specialties on site weekly
- Admit to Spooner Health System, a 24-bed CAH facility that is attached to the clinic. The Emergency Room is staffed by the hospital.

LOCATION
- Less than two hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – Eau Clare, WI – and Duluth, MN
- Spooner population: 2,561- Service area: 15,000
- Located in prime lake & recreation area! (Hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, canoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV, etc)
COMPENSATION
- $307,633. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
