Expected salary range of $170,100 to $189,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide overall management of engineering functional area of subject matter expertise to drive accountability, governance and oversight for the Constellation Power fleet. Manages the fleet technical compliance and drives continuous improvement of engineering activities for safety, standards, productivity, and cost through the department staff and regional/site engineering implementation. Develop engineering function programs, processes, and procedures for fleet alignment. Assure superior engineering function support is provided to Constellation Power facilities. This position may act as backup to the Engineering Director.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide management, governance and oversight of the engineering function of accountability with respect to the needs and regulatory requirements of the Constellation Power fleet.
- Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results
- Participate as key manager in Business Planning, Budget and Business Performance review of Engineering.
- Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact fleet operations. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., project assignment, development, compensation, performance evaluation, etc.) Ensures consistent and effective work force practices.
- Participate as senior resource to Constellation Power fleet-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes
- Implements standards, programs, processes, best practices within the engineering functional area of subject matter expertise programs. Assists Site Engineering organizations in this regard, as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Engineering
- 10+ years professional experience
- 3+ years managerial experience
- RHR Assessment
- Operations experience
- Diverse experience required with multiple plant exposure and/or experience in one or more engineering or operations functional areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in engineering, business or related field.
- Professional Engineer
- Maintenance/Work Management experience
- Team-drive experience in a matrixes environment is desired.
