About the Role:
The Aftercare Counselor at Brighton School is a vital position designed for individuals passionate about child development and dedicated to enriching the after-school experience of young learners. This role involves supervising students in the aftercare program, facilitating various activities including homework help, creative arts, and indoor/outdoor play, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment beyond school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist students with homework and educational activities, providing guidance and supervision.
- Plan and execute engaging after-school activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
- Collaborate with the school team to enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- The ability to pass state and federal background checks.
- A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor, with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
