Overview:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, direction and administration of physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. He/she administers treatments as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. He/she assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
**$15,000 sign-on Bonus**
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge and skill experience with a variety of diagnostic groups including, but not limited to, the following: orthopedic and arthritis related conditions; neurological groups including CVA, TBI, degenerative neurological diseases, SCI; generalized weakness as a result of medical or surgical conditions including DM, ESRD, amputation, COPD, CHF, and CABG.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of normal growth and development, related behaviors, needs, comfort, and range of treatment appropriate to the age (adult, geriatric) and diagnosis of patient services to support the provision of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of IRF-PAI (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument) and the Care Tool and their application in payment system for CMS.

Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Oklahoma required.
- BLS required.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Crisis Prevention training (TEAM) required within 6 months of hire (PRN-N/A).
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience inpatient rehab or acute experience preferred. Recent graduates who have applied for the licensure examination may be considered for provisional appointment.
