What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced Controller with a CPA accreditation to oversee all accounting
operations, ensure financial stability, and support our company's continued strategic growth. As
Controller, you will manage our Finance team, maintain financial controls, and produce accurate
financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in inventory accounting, an
advanced understanding of NetSuite, and a proven track record of building and scaling finance
teams to support business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance
    with GAAP and company policies.
  • Oversee the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy in all financial documents.
  • Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger,
    and financial reporting.
  • Reconciliation of bank, payroll, journal entries, and credit cards.
  • Create new financial reporting package post-month-end-close reporting to include
    financial statements, dashboards and KPI's
  • Manage inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and cost
    analysis.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data
    integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including payroll taxes,
    and manage tax filings.
  • Review, evaluate, and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures to
    improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and ensure
    regulatory compliance.
  • Lead annual 1099 productions and scheduling so it's complete in timely manner
  • Oversee creation and quarterly accountability of departmental budgets.
  • Optimize financial systems, leveraging NetSuite for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide monthly financial insights and recommendations to senior management to
    support business growth, including involvement in strategic planning, mergers, and
    acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • CPA required
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least three years in a
    leadership role.
  • Experience in inventory accounting is required; experience in the beauty or skincare
    industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing financial operations, audits, and regulatory compliance.
